Long Jetty - Shopping
Welcome to Long Jetty, a skip a hop & a little jump from Newcastle.
This refreshing little corner of Long Jetty is a boho hipsters Dream.
Some of you might think Newcastle has lost its edge when it comes to the small and quirky shops, Everything seems to be a tad to expensive or just not unique enough (one might say big brands have kicked our little creative buts to the curb)
Well, lucky for us thrifty shoppers Long Jetty has some sweet little shops on offer, all in one cozey little cross street.
Lets take a quick walk through my favourite shops….

The Glass Onion Society
Two large coffees & a healthy breakfast later we were able to start our day on the right foot.
This place has the table service down pat! There was what seemed like loads of staff on for the breakfast shift, but it did have our order in quick & the meals and coffee on our table in no time!

Shadow Bang
Even from the below picture you feel like you have stepped into Byron Bay - Shadow Bang is a trendy triangle shaped shop. Equipped with a succulent garden out the back it is the perfect shop to browse and chill.
Shadow Bang stocks everything bohemian: clothing, homewares, teas, beauty products the lot!!

Beautiful Garbage:
I purchased two items from Beautiful Garbage, a pair of sunnies and a sweet little fur vest with a leather backing.
Beautiful Garbage is nicely affordable when shopping for some cool vintage cloths & accessories.
They also have a small range of handmade ceramics as pictured below! This place had everything!

Long Road Home:
If your over having the same homewares every other Australian has from Kmart (although we all love Kmart), the Long Road Home has some great unique products for an inexpensive price.

Dapper Darling:

This was seriously my favourite shop….If you have seen & adored the new Netflix series “Girl Boss” you will love this shop!
The owner has style and sass oozing from this place, I literally wanted to live in the shop & you will see why!
The quirky finds were endless!!

We also popped into a record store, a few thrift shops and a Hemp shop … all in all a great little shopping day at Long Jetty!
